House Ai: An ever changing group of MLX Ai models but with an enduring but evolving system prompt. I started out with the idea of pursuing a private personal Ai that I could as an assistant. I then came to the conclusion that it was impossible, but then learned that it wasn’t. I’ve flipped back and forth a few more times as I learned more. Now I think my new goal is to have a House Ai that runs my smart apartment, has a variable video presence and can have discussions with me. It’s still a little ways off, but not too far.

A literary chatbot I made as an experiment. George seems to know a lot about the famous playwright he’s named after.

He has some new friends, currently I’m trying to capture differences in personality models and express them in a chatbot.

A Synology DS 1525+ where a bunch of connected experiments live on my network. Docker, Plex, JellyFish, more MLX models and some early Bluesky data server experiments all live in this 40 TB neighborhood.
